Training workers in hazardous substance safety is a legal duty set out in regulation 9 of the Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016 and per regulation 4.5 of Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017. For those involved in the operation, management, monitoring or handling, it is imperative that they are familiar with the hazards and risks that exist and know what controls are in place to mitigate harm.
On completion of this course module, you will have an advanced understanding of Anhydrous Ammonia’s unique properties and behaviours in our atmosphere, along with knowledge of the hazards and risks involved with maintenance, service, administration, and emergency management.
